I just installed oceanwp simple. I was using a previous theme with woocommerce and a child theme too. I followed all instructions on installation, deleted woocommerce and reinstalled (got an error on activating), I also uninstalled the child theme, and undid all changes I had made to my previous theme (coral dark), I even trashed all the pages, menu, widgets.. on installing this new theme, I can’t access the theme panel as I get an error “call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, first array member is not a valid class name or object”… Also none of my woocommerce products are showing in the shop, tho some are on the home page but shop says nil.. My product thumbnails are also weird even after I used regenerate thumbnails (I can solve that by reselecting he product image).. Yes there was one more error I got after installing the 2 recommended plugins for the theme.. I would really like to know what to do next so I can start working on the website properly.. I’m suspecting it’s woocommerce that’s the issue but don’t know what to do. Anybody who solved similar problems please do assist.

I have been able to solve the woocommerce products problem, they are now visible in the shop.

But i still get the error Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, first array member is not a valid class name or object in /………….wp-hook.php on line 286.

What do I do about that please??

Hello, what is your PHP version? If it is not PHP 7, update it to PHP 7 and that will should solve this issue.

Thank you I have been able to solve the problem. I noticed the error was no longer there about 2 days ago. I checked my php today and noticed it was 5, so i updated to 7.2, thanks.

I do have one issue though. When I set my woocommerce product entry media to image swap, my images appear interposed on one another and the second image is of a different proportion, This is even after I used regenerate thumbnails.

Yes another thing, when i try to use elementor to edit a page that was previously made with wordpress editor, elementor doesnt show any of my content, I get a blank page. This is recent as I have successfully edited most of my old wordpress pages with elementor.

    Yes a few more please.

    1. My mobile menu icon does not open on click and my logo also does not show on mobile.

    2. My search bar does not open as well (main menu and mobile).

    3. My woocommerce shop does not change to list view when clicked.

I also can not use two sidebars on my page. When i try it, the sidebars go to bottom of the page

The Js script is loaded in http, you need to force the https, if you don’t know how to do, ask your web host.
For the sidebars, have you changed the widths?

    Thread Starter Boye

    (@befibrillator)

Okay, I will do that. I tried different widths but it was always under the content.

    I tried leaving
Main Container Width (px) as it was,
    at 1200

    I changed
    Content Width (%)
    from 72 to 50, 60 and even 40.

    and
    Sidebar Width (%)
from 28 to 25, 50, 14.. I made it 2x smaller than content width and also the same but I made sure total page width always 100%. It was the same result.

Maybe i am not getting the system.

What is a sensible size for the parameters to make it work?

I just want the blog page to look okay with the 2 sidebars.

The result needs to be 100, so for example, if you add the two sidebars 25%, the content needs to be 50% so the result will be 100%.

    Thread Starter Boye

    (@befibrillator)

Yes, I just tried it. It did not work for General settings.

So I tried specifically for blog.
I made Both Sidebars: Content Width (50%)

    and
    Both Sidebars: Sidebars Width (50%).

Its the same thing, under the post.

Maybe it is the http thing you talked about, I will contact my hosting service.

Thanks so much, I have been able to solve most of the issues by forcing https. Now it just remains the double sidebars. I’ll keep trying.

Hi, can you show me the page where you have the problem with the two sidebars?

    Thread Starter Boye

    (@befibrillator)

    Hi, yeah it’s Here

    Theme Author oceanwp

    (@oceanwp)

Hi, you have added 50% in the “Both Sidebars: Content Width (%)” field and 50% in the “Both Sidebars: Sidebars Width (%)” field, that means your two sidebars widths are 50% and with the content width the total is 150%, that is why you have this problem, add 50% for the content width and 25% for the sidebars width, the result will be 100%.
