Can't access wp-admin to change admin email

  • Hey guys,

    Long time ago I built a website for a client, and sadly I have my email as admin password in General Settings…

    I keep receiving 5 emails a day from my own email address (so I can’t put it to spam) as notifications to their website and I can’t login to change because client removed my admin account but left this email there, and I can’t get in touch with him…

    Is there any way to resolve this?

    Do you still have access to the hosting control panel? If so, you could use phpMyAdmin to edit the email address(es) in the wp_options table.
