    i am facing strange issue,
i can’t access wp-admin without trailing slash. Here is what i am facing
when i typed https://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/ works fine
when i typed https://www.mysite.com/wp-login.php works fine
when i typed https://www.mysite.com/wp-admin (without trailing slash) it redirects to mysite.someothersite.com/wp-admin/ (Not found or This webpage is not available)

i have checked logs, .htaccess, tried relocate method, clear cache many times, disable all plugins, No clue found why without redirecting to some other domain (this domain is not on this server even)

    Looking forward.

  • What happens when you try to access another page that doesn’t exist?

everything else is fine – all pages, content, even i can access admin with /wp-login.php & /wp-admin/ (with trailing slash) without any issue.

    Hi,

Can you post your htaccess file here or even try to delete it and refresh your permalinks, not sure what you did so far related to htaccess file.

    Thanks.

Well, my htaccess is default, No change. i copy-pasted / replace / renamed / removed but no avail.
Yes i tried to reset permalinks but setting back to default.

I sorted out the issue, by pointing the primary domain (someothersite.com in my question)to this server also. & now everything working as it should. I am really Not sure what is the co-relation of Primary domain to secondary domain in a cPanel/WHM server (This issue was with all secondary domains under a cpanel account which has primary domains not hosted on this server). I assume there is some dependency between primary & secondary domain. i have asked this question in cPanel Official forum Role of primary domain & secondary domains
    Thanks for your help.
    Kind Regards
