• A few weeks ago, my host (media temple) informed me that:

The following files were found to be suspected of malware, which should be reviewed and removed:
    /home/63846/domains/martimata.com/html/wp-content/themes/semplice5/assets/js/admin.scripts.min.js
    /home/63846/domains/martimata.com/html/wp-includes/js/dist/edit-post.js

Since then, I can’t access my site martimata.com nor my dashboard ([ redundant link removed ]) — It returns a 503 error.

I have removed all the files they warned me about.
I have backed up the site.
I am trying to update WordPress. Since I can’t access my dashboard, I can’t use the OneClick Update.

Is there a way I can recover access to my dashboard?
    Thanks

Get a fresh cup of coffee, take a deep breath and carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

If you’re unable to clean your site(s) successfully, there are reputable organizations that can clean your sites for you. Sucuri and Wordfence are a couple.

First, I’d like to thank you, Steven.

Since my website is not a blog with many entries but a portfolio site, I thought I’d take it down and start over. I’m going to ask my host if that would work.

    Thanks.
