• Hi,

I can’t access my wp-dashboard and get the following error message:

There has been a critical error on this website, putting it in recovery mode. Please check the Themes and Plugins screens for more details. If you just installed or updated a theme or plugin, check the relevant page for that first.

But as I can’t access the dashboard, I can’t access the plugins either. I suspect it has to do with one of the woo plugins as the products aren’t showing properly and payment doesn’t work.

    Can anyone help me?

    Thanks!

  • You can try renaming the plugins by accessing the File Manager, FTP OR SFTP. Those plugins would be under wp-content/plugins directory. Under this directory rename those specific plugins and check if you can access the WordPress dashboard.

Also tried that now and it worked. But now as soon as I activate them its back to the error. What do I do, when I want to use woo but it causes the problem? Ive been using this plugin for a while and its always been fine…

Did you enable WP_DEBUG to true in wp-config.php and then enable the plugin ? If not, please try this. Might show some insights.
