• Hello, I need to re-enable the 2FA login after I disabled it, but following the adding of the QR to the FreeOTP app (which I just used to enable other 2FA services), I can’t activate it because I always get the error “The code provided does not match the expected value. Please verify that the time on your authenticator device is correct and that this server’s time is correct.”
But all the timestamps are correct! And the tine is the same on my iPhone.
    Eg:
    Server Time: 2022-09-29 16:07:27 UTC (2022-09-29 18:07:27 UTC+2)
    Browser Time: Thu, 29 Sep 2022 16:07:28 GMT (Thu Sep 29 2022 18:07:28 GMT+0200)
    Corrected Time (NTP): 2022-09-29 16:07:27 UTC (2022-09-29 18:07:27 UTC+2)

So now what? Please help me ??

Hello @webby1973 and thanks for reaching out to us!

The server time looks to be correct to me. Sometimes being off by a second can cause issues but it should be more random than constant.

Can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    Thanks again!

Hello Adam, I tried but “There was an error while sending the email.”, I’m going to send it via email, is this fine for you?

The site is hosted on NameCheap, if it matters.
