Can’t activate – fatal error

    I get this message when trying to activate:

    Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in …/wp-content/plugins/bp-user-reviews/bp-user-reviews.php on line 419

    PHP 5.4 is too old, is it possible to update at least to 5.6?

    We’re going to look if this is possible.

    We’re currently in the process of migrating a forum wich uses outdated software.
    It might lead to errors on this old forum when updating the PHP version.

    I’ll get back to you after we tried it.

    I just tested your plugin with php 7.1 and it works perfect!
