Can't activate the new version of the plugin

When I updated the plugin, started getting this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/<my_user>/public_html/wp-content/plugins/search-and-replace/inspyde-search-replace.php on line 16.
I’m excluding the plugin until it gets resolved.
