    Hi,

thanks for a great-looking plugin – I’ve been searching for an audio player that has playlists, song images and works cross-browser / mobile for ages now, and yours really does look one of the best!

I got the Pro version and got it playing the sample song no problem, but I can’t get it to add a song.

I’ve made various differently-named playlists (using standard characters as other posts suggest), and tried it on a multisite install and a single install (both running wp 3.8), but got the same results.

Once I’ve created a playlist I go to add a song, fill in all the details and click “add song” and a notification says “New Song Added”, but when I check in my playlist it still says “Please Add Songs No Songs Listed Yet”.

I’ve tried loads of variations of file upload / adding file URLs for the songs but to no avail. I’ve also deactivated all plugins and used Twenty Ten theme, but still no tracks show up and I just get the Sample Track on the web page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I’d love to be able to use this plugin – it looks so much better than all the others! ??

    Best wishes,
    Ian

    note:
I was just about to post this and noticed another thread about issues with Windows servers. I’m using IIS 7 and I wonder if this is the cause?
If it is do you think this be something that can be resolved soon?

  • I’m having the same issues as well. Will not add to playlist. Any ideas out there in a possible solution?

Hi! I am having the same issue.
I’ve tested with Chrome/Firefox/Safari on a Mac and I haven’t been able to add songs, which basically means this plug in can’t be used.
I also have purchased the pro version.
    Help please!

    Thank you!

Unfortunately this plugin does not play well on Windows hosting. Really you need to be running WordPress on Linux server unless there’s a really good reason not to. It may be the first, but it will not be the last plugin that causes you trouble on Windows. Sorry about that.

Are you also running on Windows server? And are your symptoms and steps taken exactly the same as the first post? If not, please post some more details so I can try to help you further

    Thanks

I am running on window server. I thought maybe our version was outdated. I just purchased a new copy about 20 minutes ago and still the same issue. The version worked great, however we needed the ability to create multiple playlist, thus the reason why we purchased the pro-version.
So now, when we go to try to add new songs, it will say “Song Updated” but will not show it on the playlist as being added.

We have to run on windows because of our current eCommerce setup.

I’m not on Windows and I’m having this issue as well. I created a playlist, added two tracks to it, embedded the shortcode, saved everything. Player is only displaying the Sample Track.

    Little help?

Yeah sorry, the Pro version uses various scripts which are not compatible with Windows server. I will post a note on the plugin description so that other users are aware of this. Sorry for any inconvenience. Please get in touch privately and I’ll be happy to process a refund for you seeing as you can’t use Pro with your Windows server.

Ok if its not the Windows server issue then the standard problem is that there are weird characters in the shortcode. Please check especially for a space before an underscore in the shortcode generated.

PS I am marking this topic ‘resolved’ now because the original issue is definitely a problem with Windows server.

Thanks Maeve – That helped. My original playlist title did have spaces, which resulted in spaces before the underscores in the shortcode. Note that I only got it working when I completely removed all spaces in the playlist title.

Not a big deal though. Glad to get it working!

Awesome ?? Glad to hear that worked.

Hi I’m running the trial version however, i can’t seem to get more than one song to display in the player, is this the trial versions limitations ????

No, free version has no limitations. Seeing as your issue is unrelated to this thread please can you open your own support topic so I can help you better?

    Thanks
