can't add a url that shows up on blog

Are you sure you are adding the right url? Have you reviewed Embeds?

This above is what I pasted into my blog. It didn’t show up.

I think you are pasting the link in ‘Visual’ mode. Can you please confirm and try pasting the link by switching to ‘text’ mode?

If you are trying to embed the video – It should look more like this:

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/9KZSXmjtY-A" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

When you are viewing the YouTube video and you click the “Share” tab to get your code, you would need to then click the “Embed” tab to get the iframe version.

That didn’t work. I managed to get a video posted but I don’t remember what I did. Does anyone have experienc ewith this?

Are you trying to just embed the video so it can play on your post or are you trying to just link to the youtube video?

Hi Craig, I would be happy with either. As it is, when I try to put anything at all, all I get is a big space where the video or http address should be.

If you paste

into the “Text” tab of your editor and publish – Nothing shows up?

Are you sure that you have fully enabled sharing on that video?

I’m not sure of anything!! I selected Share and selected Embedded. Then I think I copy and pasted the http thing into the WordPress http place, erased one of the https and let it fly. Nada.

@travelswiththerayman.com have you pasted the code I provided you into the “Text” tab of your editor and updated it?

I think I found it. Where do I put it. A space and then paste?
