Can’t add answer

  • Hi,

    I’m developing in localhost using last version of Democracy Poll plugin and WP.
    I have a poll with option “Allow users to add answers (democracy).” activated. But when I clik on it nothing happens. I.e. not pop is opened, o form field showed.

    I thought the problem could be I’m using Adblock Plus in Firefox, but that option doesn’t works even if Adblock is deactivated.

    It seams you have javascript conflict. Look at google chrome console, maybe you will see some errors…

    If so, post screenshot here, please.

    Well, it’s strange, I agree. But I saw in this forum that some other people had the same problem, and you said “this problem will be fixed in next release”.

    I could post an screenshot, but you wouldn’t see anything because the only problem is nothing happens when I do clik on “add answer”. I.e., website is made with WP+Divi, and everything is working fine. I’m using Xampp (almost the last version) as webserver.

    BTW: I’m developing this website as multilanguage using Polylang. I think a good feature for your plugin might be the option to translate texts inside every poll. Because now I should translate text “add answer” (and others) in two languages, and I can’t do it.

    Sincerely I don’t know what I can do to give you more feedback in order you can figure out a solution to this problem.

    Hi,

    Now I know where is the problem. I’m using Divi theme, and it has a module to publish tabs:

    So, I published a module like that with two tabs. In one of them I put shortcode to a poll, and in the other one another shortcode to other poll. The result is there is two polls in the same page, inside the same Divi Module. And so, there would be some javascript conflict that cause this problem.

    If I use a poll shortcode to put a single poll in any page the option to add answer works fine.

    So, could you fix this problem in some way?

    I tested many poll on one screen and all works fine. Can I see your site to detect the problem?
