    Hi there!

Firstly let me thank you for this plugin, it’s been invaluable to me as a developer.

I’m a developer and I use this as a tool on an almost daily basis. I’ve installed this plugin on hundreds of sites without issue but today I installed it on localhost just to take a screenshot to show a client something.

Clean install, no other plugins running, twentyseventeen theme,

Unfortunately there are no options other than “Settings” available in the plugins dashboard menu,

I tried saving the settings, re-installing, all the obvious solutions, nothing made any difference.

    Please advise?

    Kind regards
    – Perry

In the last version there were some changes related to permissions. You have to be administrator or, if you’re not admin, then you have to have the “Web Designer” role assigned to the user.

Are you logged in as administrator? What WordPress version do you have? What PHP version?

Are you having this issue on a multi-site WordPress installation?

I’m an admin, running PHP 7.0, WP 4.9.5, on my localhost development server, not multi-site. Thank you

I should add that I haven’t changed my configuration at all for quite some time

I’ve got this same problem as well. I’m an Administrator running PHP 5.6 on WP 4.9.5.

I think I’ve found the issue.

There seems to be an error when adding the capabilities to add/edit/delete custom codes to the administrator during the plugin activation. You can still add the capabilities by enabling the “Add the css_js_designer role” option on the WP Admin -> Custom CSS & JS -> Settings page. This is just a small hack to get it work on your website, but I still need to fix the issue with adding the capabilities during the plugin activation.

I followed your instructions and it’s working great now. Thank you for your fast response!!

I’m glad that worked. So it was indeed an issue with the permissions. In the 3.17 version this should work alright by default, without this small hack.
