I found a way using the “+” button on top of the screen, but now I cannot center an image! What is going on? Are these bugs in the new version of WordPress?

Going via the + is the right way. Alternatively, you can also do exactly that where “Type / to choose a block”: write a “/” and then select a block there. If you write “/ima” you should also be able to select the image block directly by pressing Enter.

You can select the alignment of the image block in the options. Take a look at the options above the image. And take a look at the documentation: https://www.ads-software.com/documentation/article/image-block/

Thanks for your answer! I didn’t know about the “/” or “/ima”. I found out how to do the alligment after a while.
