When I press add custom product attribute I get the attributes working area grayed out with rotating waiting cursor. It doesn’t go away and doesn’t let me do any further actions with the attributes.

In the console I can see this error:
Uncaught Error: Option ‘ajax’ is not allowed for Select2 when attached to a <select> element.
    at String.<anonymous> (select2.min.js:1)
    at Function.each (load-scripts.php:2)

    I got Woocommerce 3.0.1

  • Same problem here.

I have the same problem and i need help, the attribute no work ??

    Hi all,

Just want to add that I too have the same issue here, error looks identical to that above.

    Following post

I am having the same issue on both attributes and variations in the admin dashboard. Everything seems to work fine in the front-end.

    Same problem here …

    Same problem for me.

    Hi All,

I have been doing some debugging to try and narrow down the problem. I have found it to be visual composer + ultimate add-ons to be the cause of this on my install.

Is everyone else using these plugins too?

In my case I will have to contact our theme’s developers to correct the problem.

    Hi infosws,
I’m using Visual Composer bundled with my theme. Unfortunately I can’t deactivate it as it breaks my site :/

Adding attributes on front-end doesn’t work neither for me. Really need a solution for this!

    Hi,
I have the same problem. I just know, that the problem comes from the wc file. wc-enhanced-select.min.js. I deactivated it, and now it works. Unfortunately I guess, that this file is needed, so I have to activate it later again. But for now it seems to work. But it would be great, if someone has a better solution!!

    Thanks in advance!

In my case it was a bug in WC Vendors Pro 1.3.9. Updating to 1.4.1 fixed the problem.

hi, I have same problem with adding attributes. Thanks in advance!

@chindek See the solution, which worked for me above.

@astralex thanks for help, but I don’t have WC Vendors PRO

Deactivate the plugin “Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer” and hopefully it will work
