Can't add event in back end, options have gone!

    I’ve suddenly noticed from my WP dashboard I have lost most of my options under Events – I only have Settings and Help! So I can’t create any events or even view them! They all display ok on the site it’s just the options seem to have disappeared in the back end!
    I’m on 5.5.5.
    Any advice on this would be appreciated. Thanks.

    I found that since installing BBPress it had wiped all the User Capabilities within Event Manager! Luckily I have it on another site so was able to copy back from there.

    How can you really solve the problem??
    I have the exact same problem here.
    After I deactivate the bbPress, the problem still can not solve….

    Hi,

    You need to go into Events -> Settings -> General -> User Capabilities. All the tick boxes for each user type were empty. Set them all on for administrator and that should fix it.
