Can’t add Facebook app ID and Secret

  • Hello,

    I have been looking in the Miscellaneous section of the plugin but I can’t find anywhere to add the Facebook App ID or Secret. Because of that, the Facebook sharing of the plugin is not working. Can you help me please ? Thanks

    Hi,

    Facebook share count is not supported by the plugin anymore since the Facebook stopped serving share counts. You can switch to the Pro or Premium version to track shares for Facebook along with the other social networks you have enabled.

    I don’t want the Facebook share count.
    But the ??Facebook share?? bouton doesn’t work. It says in the error debug that I need to add the Facebook App ID.

    If the Facebook share button doesn’t work, what is the plugging free version made for ?! Nothing…

    See the screenshot posted above. This is what I get when sharing on Facebook the web page https://globefreelancers.com/retour-de-voyage-coronavirus/. FYI, the floating bar at the left of the page doesn’t belong to my plugin.

    My suggestion for considering the Pro or Premium version was because you mentioned about saving Facebook App Id and Secret which was required to show Facebook share count in the past.
