Can’t add HTML in posts

    I can’t post any HTML in my posts.

    If I do, wordpress doesn’t save the changes, it just goes to the blog homepage when I click save.

    This means I can’t link to anything, and I also can’t add pictures. The same thing happens; if the post includes a picture it just goes to the blog’s public homepage when I click save.

    I installed WP manually the first time and am pretty sure I did nothing wrong, but just in case I have just reinstalled it using fantastico deluxe provided by my host.

    Can anyone help please?
