Can't add HTML to the title text

Hey, I tried to add HTML to the title text – example :
<strong>SOLD</strong>Instead of showing up bold, it actually displayed
<strong>SOLD</strong>in the gallery. Is there a way to make HTML show up in the title, or does it just not work that way? Thanks!
