Can't Add Images to Gallery

    Hi,

    I don’t seem to be able to add images to galleries, when i select the “ADD IMAGES” button the media library open’s and i can select images as usual but none of the selected images are appearing in the gallery meta box.

    I’ve tried the usually troubleshooting, deactivating all plugin e.t.c, but nothing seems to be conflicting.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Check to see if your PHP installation has the GD extension enabled.

    If it isn’t, see if you can get it installed. Then upload some new images and try the gallery builder again. (Thumbnails for old images won’t be automatically generated, though there is a plugin for regenerating them.)

    I’ve run into this recently. My development environment didn’t have GD enabled by default.

    Without GD, WordPress won’t make the thumbnails that the gallery builder tries to reference and it triggers a JavaScript undefined error.

    @mac4media,

    What version of ASE are you running? What theme?

    Have you created a gallery as we show in the following documentation?

    What @ksprog could be the problem as well.

    Hi,

    @ksprog Thanks for the suggestion, i can confirm that the GD extension in enabled.

    I currently have ASE version 1.6.1 and the Lasso addon version 0.9.3 active and
    I’m using a Genesis Child called Envy Pro. I can also confirm that standard wordpress galleries are working correctly.

    The issue seems to be limited to the add image function of the gallery component, as i’m able to create a new gallery and select images but the images aren’t being added to the new gallery.
