Can't Add Images to NextGen Gallery

I am unable to add images to NextGen gallery. I’ve been using this plug-in for about a year and just started having this problem recently. When I try to edit the gallery it says it has “0” images. I checked the ftp and there are no images in the folder.

I’ve updated to the latest version of NextGen but this did not help.

Any recommendations?
