Can't add images to portfolio items and slideshow

this theme is 4.0 compatible. You should try to deactivate all other plugins and then reactivate them one after another, to check if there is a possible conflict.

I deactivated and activated all plugins and problem still persists ??

I have the same problem as well. When I click the “add media” button, nothing happens. I deactivated all plugins and the issue still remains. Were you able to resolve the problem and are you able to add media to your site through the “add media” button?

The issue has been solved.
We had to update Angular theme as the previous version was not working with WordPress 4.0
