    Hi Job Board WP.

As per your documentation, we removed unnecessary values and added new job type values through the WP-admin UI.

After doing this, on production and test sites, neither site will permit new jobs to be added either through WP-admin or on the front end UI – which in our case is through the ultimatemember account page. Our current list of Job Type values is as follows: Consultant, Full-time, Part-time, Temporary.

Production gives an error and test just does nothing – no spinning icon, nothing at all is presented to the user to tell them that there’s anything at all going on after they click Save Draft – and the page won’t publish.

The UX for wp-admin and for a site user is that an error is received in production stating “wrong job’s type”.

Can you please provide guidance on troubleshooting and resolution as we’re totally blocked with no workaround that we can come up with?

    Thank you

    Hi @learning6

Sorry for the delay, I can suggest a few steps for getting investigated and fixing this issue.

    1) Please make sure that you enabled WP_DEBUG and debug.log file is empty or there aren’t any strings related to the JobBoardWP plugin https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/#wp_debug

    2) Do you still have the job types and can you set the job type from the frontend UX or wp-admin UX screens? Btw. the Job Type field is required on wp-admin and frontend both.

    3) If you can share some screencasts or screenshots with detailed steps it will be good

    Let me know,
    Best Regards!
