Can’t add media or install plugins

  • When I try to add media to a post or page, it gives me the spinning wheel. Also, when I try to edit a widget it never saves, just keeps spinning the wheel, and when I try to install a plugin it won’t work either. I talked to my hosting company and they said everything is good on their end. I reinstalled wordpress and that didn’t help so the next step is the theme. Do you have any help for this? I need it fixed right away so I can edit my website.

    Can you try changing to some standard theme like Twenty sixteen to check if it is theme-related issue?

    I just changed the theme and everything worked fine, so definitely a theme-related issue.

    Can you also check by disabling all plugins?

    In addition, clear your server’s cache and then check.
