Can't add new players or staff

    I am not sure what caused this, but the options to add and edit new or existing players and staff have disappeared! When hovering over the “Players” and “Staff” options on the sidebar of the WP dashboard, the only available options are respectively: “Competitions/Seasons/Positions”, and “Competitions/Seasons/Jobs”.

    Is this something I have broken (I don’t think it is…), or otherwise?

    Please advise.

    @mike.chiv Which version of SportsPress are you currently using?

    The latest version I believe. I can’t remember the number but I thought to try and update yesterday and there was no option to do so, so I can only assume it is up to date.

    @mike.chiv I was able to reproduce this issue by changing my user role to “Editor”. Could this be the case?

    It is possible that my laptop has decided to log in as someone else. It shouldnt, but it’s possible. I’ll test today and report back.

    Okay I tried on my phone. Logged into admin account and the issue persists.

    @mike.chiv hmm… do you have any user role/capability plugins installed? I’d recommend temporarily deactivating all other plugins to see if the issue persists.

    Updated to 1.7.7 and everything is working fine again. Weird!
