Can’t add new subscribers

    Noptin has been working great until we updated to v2.0.1 today. Now when we try to add a subscriber, we get an error message: “Error saving Subscriber: Duplicate entry ‘0’ for key ‘PRIMARY’.” This happens whether we try to use the subscribe widget on our web site, add a subscriber manually from the Noptin dashboard, or import a CSV file of subscribers from the Noptin dashboard. Any help or advice you could provide to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance for your consideration.

    Hi Brian, thank you for responding so quickly. PHP is 8.0.25 and MySQL is 5.7.

    Okay this shouldn’t happen since MySQL usually generates a new ID when you pass 0 as the ID.

    We’ve released an update that doesn’t pass an ID. Please update and let us know if that works for you.

    Hi Brian, the update works. I’ve confirmed that we can again add subscribers via the web site widget, manually from the Noptin dashboard, and by importing a CSV file. Thank you very much for taking care of this–I really appreciate your help!
