Can’t Add or Edit Most Fields for Sermons (v. 2.16.0)

    This morning I went to add a new sermon and found most of the form fields are missing. All I can enter is the Title, Excerpt, Series, and Speaker. The form fields for entering the sermon date, scripture, description, and media links are all missing.

    I also can’t edit those fields for any existing sermons already published.

    I checked to see what the plug in version is and it lists 2.16.0. I don’t know when the plugin updated but these form fields were not missing a week ago.

    @pcavanagh62 Please deactivate and delete your active Sermon Manager for WordPress 2.16.0 and download a new plugin file from the repository to reinstall. We pushed a new file and you need to reinstall.
    Please run a backup before deleting just in case.

    Will deleting Sermon Manager delete all the existing sermon data?
    I have decades of sermons listed on our site that I would need to recreate if it did.

    I deleted and reinstalled 2.16.0 and the missing fields problem was corrected. Also, all my sermon data was preserved. Thank You!

    I am having the same problem (most fields missing, even the fields that exist don’t show on the website when I click the ‘Publish’ button), and am really not computer savvy on how to fix this.
    Could someone give a more complete explanation as to how to run a backup, delete and reinstall?

    @skytony112 You shouldn’t have to do a back-up. Just delete the plugin and re-install it.

    @hikinmike Thanks. Are you saying that I can just go to the dashboard and deactivate and delete the sermon manager plugin, and nothing will be lost?
    We have been enjoying the use of sermon manager for a number of years. I would love to keep using it if I can make it work again.

    I’m experiencing the same issues and have followed the same advice, but still nothing is resolved. Any suggestions?
