Can't add quotes to "Post content" & "Post content" body

I can add any kind of HTML except things that have quotes. When I do upon save I get this as my code:

Not a member but would like to join? <span class=\"uamhack\">Contact us to sign up and we will get you started!</span>

Every save adds another two \’s. Any idea?
