I have a problem with adding shipping zones: interface doesnt display properly and if try to add new zone everything just stuck, I can’t scroll, can’t undo the action, just close page or go to another. I can’t disable all plugin to check because some of them have lisense and it will be deactivated once I deactivate plugins (per plugins’ author words). It worked fine on the local copy or on the copy on another server.

  • Hi @xeene14 ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are experiencing issues with adding shipping zones where the interface freezes, is this correct?

Just to clarify, are all the?WooCommerce Server Recommendations?and?WordPress requirements?met at the moment?

If so, does this only occur when adding new shipping zones, or is this same behavior exhibited on other areas of your dashboard?

Also, do you recall any changes/updates being made to the site prior to noticing this issue?

I hear your concern about not wanting to disable all plugins however performing a conflict test is an important troubleshooting step for these types of issues, as this is typically caused by a theme/plugin conflict.

I’d suggest using the free Health Check?plugin as an alternative for the conflict test.

    Hi, Roxy!

    Thank you for the reply.

Yes, it is correct. Also the interface doesn’t display properly. Normally (on my test site) the window for zipcodes is hidden and you open in by pressing on the button, but on my actual site it is always open and doesn’t hide when I press the button. Also the section, where I am suppose to add rules for shipping does not display correctly and when I try to use it, interface freezes.

At first I didn’t notice anything wrong; the site have been on constant testing between me nad future users, so we performed various actions like add/edit/delete products, orders, posts, pages, etc, there was nothing wrong on the front and in the admin panel. I was able to install or deactivate plugins normally and nothing was wrong.
However, thought, after your reply I wanted to get a woocommerce status report and I siply couldn’t. Nothing happened when you press a button to generate report or copy it. So far, unusual behaviour was detected only in woocommerce plugin on admin panel.

I’ve tried to disable all the pluguins except for the lisensed ones and nothing. Also I’ve tried health check plugin but it couldn’t detect anything. The result is in the attached image.

I curious, in a case where a problem can not be detected, is there a way to add zones manually with PHP or maybe you could recommend a plugin?

    Hi @xeene14

Thank you for providing further information about your issue here.

This is unusual behavior that looks like a plugin or theme conflict causes the issue here.

You can rule this out by following the guide here: https://woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/ (I know that you’ve already deactivated some plugins but to no avail, but please give this a try once again)

I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on the link above without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

    Hi @xue28

I have ressolved the issue but switching WordPress language to English. Originally I used Korean language and for some reason it clashed with the interface.

    Hi @xeene14

I’m glad to hear that you were able to resolve the issue by switching the WordPress language to English. It seems that there might have been a clash or compatibility issue with the Korean language setting and the interface.
