Can’t Add Sidebar To Blog Page

    I can’t get a sidebar to appear on the blog page of my site using this theme. I’ve selected “right sidebar” page template on the page but it doesn’t seem to do anything. Selecting the “right sidebar” page template seems to work on every other page on the site though.

    I looked into other support tickets and the solution suggested was to change the blog settings under Appearance >> Customize but I don’t see any such settings anywhere. The theme documentation also shows settings that I don’t seem to have. Has there been a recent update that is causing these issues? The theme is up to date.

  • Hi,

    By default blog pages have Right sidebar enabled, can you double check in Appearance -> Widgets you have filled the “Right Sidebar” area with widgets?

    Hello Laranz,

    Yes, the right sidebar area does have widgets. It isn’t the blog pages themselves that are the problem, rather the main blog page: https://greenspace.luremarketing.ca/blog-2/

    All other pages, including the individual blog posts, will display the right sidebar correctly. It just seems to be this page that is giving me an issue.

    Did you choose that page as the Posts page in Settings -> Readings?
