Can't add to the third column – Nowhere to drop items

Hi there,
When adding the thirs column (under screen settings) all content jumps a bit to the left as if there was another column. But no-where to drop items – i.e. one can not drag and drop, as nothing gets “active” to drop to… What to do?Hope there is a solution, it is a much needed plugin ??
