    Hi!

We recently “Free Shipping” to certain orders, and since doing so, we can’t add tracking info for free shipping orders in the Woocommerce App.

Any ideas on how to solve this? Free shipping orders are still shipped and need to be tracked.

    Thanks!

Hi, what do you mean by “we can’t add tracking info for free shipping orders in the Woocommerce App” can you share a screenshot?

If the OP means that the button “Add Tracking Info” does not do anything when it is clicked (the Shipment Tracking extension for adding tracking information to orders does not work), I am having the same issue. I also use the free shipping option throughout my web site. I haven’t added any plugins recently and have only been updating. I noticed my “add Tracking Info” stopped working around August 17th and has not been working since.

    Hi, ok, I understand.
WordPress 5.5 was launched in Aug 11th and WooCommerce 4.4 on August 18, we updated Advanced Shipment to work with these versions but there are some plugins that did not yet modify their plugins to work with these versions and it might be that you have a conflict with another plugin due to that.
There was a thread about it last week and you can see what other users did to solve the issue – https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/add-tracking-info-not-working/
You can try ti deactivate all plugins besides WooCommerce and AST, clear the cache and try again to add tracking info, if it works, activate the other plugins one by one to find out which one creates the conflict.
    Thanks

Thanks, tried turning off each plugin but no joy. The browser console gave me this but don’t know what any of it means:

Side note, can’t turn off the notification sticky on the top of the dashboard that says
“Hey, I noticed you are using the Advanced Shipment Tracking – that’s awesome!
Could you please do me a BIG favor and give it a 5-star rating on WordPress to help us spread the word and boost our motivation?”

If I click “nope maybe later” or “already did” or the X in the corner, it takes me to a 404 page on my web site.

*Whoops, sorry for the threadjack, OP. Just realized this isn’t my thread*

Hello, I can’t replicate it, this is the same exact messages as WooCommerce admin and you should not have an issue to dismiss it, I think that some kind of issue with a different plugin or a conflict of that plugin with the new WP/WC versions.

The review notification wasn’t an issue with another plugin. The url for the button closing the window was wrong.

I fixed it by deleting one of the “/shop/” in the resulting 404 page that pops up when trying to X out of the review notification window.

My store is at website.com/shop and that X link tries to go to website.com/shop/shop… Deleting one of the “/shop” in the url and reloading fixed it and the review window is gone.

Still can’t get the add tracking info button to work though ??

    Hi!

In the official Woocomerce App I was always able to “Add Tracking”, until i changed to free shipping, and then the option was gone.

But now it seems to be fixed: https://snipboard.io/o2CjYt.jpg

In that screenshot you can see that I can now add the tracking info for a free shipping ??

    Thanks!

Quick update: It work in the beta version of the woocommerce app, but i tried doing the same in the standard android version and it is still not showing, so it would be safe to assume that this is a fix on Woocommerce side that will be fixed in their next public app release.

    cheers,

Hi, Ok, I am not sure I understand, what is the difference between the beta and the Android?
