Hi – I’m currently in a Bitnami development area creating a new website. I’ve loaded my google calendar into the site with Simple Calendar. All is fine seeing the current month but I cannot advance it to see December.

    settings:
    Calendar start: This month
Earliest Event: 1 month before start date
Latest Event: 1 year after start date

Data is loaded into the google calendar on the google calendar site. I was not sure if I could backup to see October but I should be able to see December.

    Any ideas?

Glad to know I’m not alone. I set up a list version calendar first, which worked great. Then I made a grid view and I’m seeing both the month arrows not working AND clicking on events not working.

I tried changing themes as well as disabling all other plugins, just to be sure they weren’t conflicting. No difference.

    Help!

Seth – Since you opened up a ticket in Pro support we’ll continue there.

@bam35uu – What I pointed Seth to is basically troubleshooting theme, plugin & widget conflicts. Details here:

    https://docs.simplecalendar.io/troubleshooting-theme-plugin-widget-conflicts/

Another thing to try is ticking the “Always Enqueue” option under Calendars > Settings > Advanced > Scripts and Styles.

Please let us know if either of those work for you.

Hi Phil – the theme is interfering with the calendar. When I switched to a different stock theme in WP the calendar advanced.

I don’t know code but I found a file called “footer” associated with my theme and opened it in word pad and saw this:

    <?php wp_footer(); ?>

do the ?’s mean it is inactivated?

I’m also advising our theme editor of this issue with the theme and your plug in.

Love the plugin and want to get it to work!

<?php and ?> bracket php code within html. That is a call to the regular WordPress footer code, and definitely should be there.

That is correct and that is how it should be. You could also try checking your theme’s header file to make sure it has a wp_head() function call in there somewhere also.

    Seth/Nick,

“Always Enqueue” didn’t work for me.

Can get the forward link to work when I play with the Event Settings.

But when I try to set up the page properly, I looks the ‘forward link’.

    Thanks,

Any change after the 3.0.5 update? We fixed some issues with the script loading.

    greg.s.storm

    (@gregsstorm)

    Surprisingly no.

Thanks a TON for working it though.

Initial page (month of Nov) won’t allow one to click to the ‘right’ (Dec and on …).

PS – And yes I did load the update.

Not yet, still won’t advance. when I did the first update the calendar went all out of whack then the most recent update restored it to previous structure. I think it is something to do with the theme I’m using. I’m in touch with the theme builders to see if they can see anything.

    Thanks

I am having the same problem. Changing the month does not refresh the actual calendar. It’s stuck on November.

Hi there – I can’t advance to the next month either. The forward arrow doesn’t show, although there is hyperlink. When I click on it nothing happens.

    any progress?
