I am really hoping someone can help me.

I found the default 2024 text block width too narrow so made it wider. The H1 now doesn’t align with the text.

In the Single Posts Template editor I tried grouping the H1 Heading with the first paragraph of text. Then I entered the text width I wanted under the block options on the right hand sidebar. This brought the H1 into alignment with the text, so I clicked save to keep the changes to the template. I then had a look at the posts I had created with the Single Posts Template and the H1 was still out of alignment with the text. I tried creating a new post to see if the template change would work but the problem was still there.

I can’t figure this problem out. Surely there must be many 2024 users that make adjustments to the width of blocks so there has to be a simple way of bringing the H1 into alignment. I really hope someone can help.

    Thanks everyone!

I just discovered that the Edit view and Preview are different. The alignment of H1 and the text is correct in Preview and incorrect in Edit. I should have thought of checking this before as I seem to always have this problem (I have switched off the two plug-ins I am using and it makes no difference).
