Can't arrange custom menus after 3.1 update

  • Updated to 3.1 yesterday. Today went in to add a new page (menu) to my custom menu. I can add it just fine but I can’t arrange them anymore. When I hover over them, I get the 4 way arrow (Safari) or the hand (Firefox) but it will not allow me to move them. I need to move the one I added to be a dropdown from another. When I try to move it, it acts like a cursor selecting text area (blue shading wherever I drag the cursor to).

    Is this a 3.1 issue or am I missing something???

    I’m using Mac OS X 10.6.6 with Safari 5.0.4. I’ve also tried it in Firefox 4.0b12 and same problem.

  • there must be a plugin that is conflicting as I do not have that problem deactivate plugins and see it solves the problem.

    Ok, I deactivated my plugins and isolated it to the Social Slider plugin. This is the one that when activated won’t allow me to arrange the menus. When I deactivate it, bingo, it works.

    So…how can I fix this so that every time I want to add a page I don’t have to deactivate this plug in?

    Find alternative or check if there is answer on plugin developer website.
