I seem to be having some problems with the admin panel in regards to assigning a template to a page. The box with this option just doesn’t show up. I have my default page.php and a few other templates in the directory. I’ve never had this problem before with my setup. Any ideas?

I appreciate the link but I have all of that covered.
I have multiple page templates in the dir, including the default page.php.
    Still, no Page Template option.

Guess the permissions could be wrong, or the theme that is active is different than the folder you think belongs to that active theme.

    Well, I figured it out.
I couldn’t possibly be working in the wrong directory so I checked what Theme was active in my admin panel. Turns out there was no theme active, not even the default theme was active. Nothing. Yet my website was picking up all the theme elements of the one I was working on. So I activated the theme and all is good.
    Thanks.
