Can't Back up! please help!

Hi there. I wonder if you can help me? I have wasted so much time on something that is supposed to be so easy and I have no idea what i’m doing wrong.

I want to install the new version of wordpress and want to back up for the first time.
I have tried https://wpb2d.com first. It installed fine but then just stopped after 28% complete. Tried deleteing plugin and starting afain with no luck whatsoever and wouldn’t even back up second time. Just produced the log form last installation.

I then tried https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/backwpup/ which I could not install at all.

I then found a place on dash boad where it said I could back up manually.
I then get this

What shall I do? I dont want to install new version of wordpress with out back up.
