Can't Bold Menu sub items

    Theme: child twentyeleven website: https://www.firechaplain101.org
    Using fireBug, could make sub items BOLD by changing font-weight for #access ul ul a (originally was normal weight) but when added

    #access ul ul a {
    font-weight: bold;
    }
    to the custom style.css (of the child) the sub items were NOT BOLD (were still normal weight).
