    UpdraftPlus: Unfinished restoration

    You have an unfinished restoration operation, begun 1135 minutes, 35 seconds ago.

    This banner appears at the top of the Dashboard. Specifically, it “hung” when trying to restore the Others.zip file from a previous backup.

    I found a very large unneeded file (debug log) in the zip, which I believe was causing problems, and have deleted the debug log.

    The problem is : i cant get UD to STOP trying to restore this file. I don’t need it restored… just stop trying already. ??

    Deactivating/Reactivating the UD plug doesn’t seem to help. Not seeing the Restore job running in WP-Cron Events. Any suggestions? Thanks ??

    I don’t need it restored… just stop trying already.

    Until you press the button, it’s just a button waiting to be pressed – it’s not trying anything. Just wait a day, and it’ll realise you don’t want to continue, and it’ll not show.

    The next release will also have a “Dismiss” button.

    I have this problem also, however, clicking the dismiss button just removes the notice until I refresh the page or navigate to another part of the admin.

    Why is it so persistent? Can, it be safely ignored & removed?

    P.s. Ive tried the continue restoration option but this keeps failing.

    Just wait a day, and it’ll realise you don’t want to continue, and it’ll not show.
