    The first issue is that it seems to be impossible for a customer to change their address once one has been entered. There also doesn’t appear to be provision for the billing and shipping addresses to be different. This can cause huge headaches for customers and I am surprised it hasn’t been provided for.

    For the second issue I am revisiting the topic discussed in this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/shopping-cart-messaging/ because it was never resolved and I really need to get it sorted out. The theme is High Responsive which has no cart template file. I want to remove the?message stating that “the customer matched zone Lower 48?+ DC” (see screenshot) and, lacking the cart template file, I don’t know where to look. When I use the inspector it really seems like the woocommerce-message class is the source, not a theme file. https://paste.pics/937d41909e884a74583ae697800bd7ae

    Also, I’ve added the code provided for the message I wanted to add for customers in Alaska, Hawaii and Canada, as discussed in that thread, but haven’t been able to check on it because of the problem with the first address being stored.

    Thank you in advance

  • Hi @catwingz
    For second cart message issues, you can simply enable/disable debug mode.

    WooCommerce->Shipping->Shipping Options?and check/uncheck?Enable Debug Mode

    Thanks

    Hi there @catwingz ??

    Welcome to WooCommerce Support. I’d be happy to help you with this.

    The first issue is that it seems to be impossible for a customer to change their address once one has been entered. There also doesn’t appear to be provision for the billing and shipping addresses to be different. This can cause huge headaches for customers and I am surprised it hasn’t been provided for.

    Just to note, customers are able to access (and edit) their billing and shipping address via the dedicated section under their My Account area. Further details can be found here.

    Furthermore, a Ship to a different address? option is available at the Checkout page. Below, I am attaching a screenshot, for reference.

    For the second issue I am revisiting the topic discussed in this thread:?https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/shopping-cart-messaging/?because it was never resolved and I really need to get it sorted out. The theme is High Responsive which has no cart template file. I want to remove the?message stating that “the customer matched zone Lower 48?+ DC” (see screenshot)

    I was able to reproduce this, upon visiting the site’s Cart page after adding a couple of products to it. It appears to be related with the current shipping settings. Did you already have a change to double-check how the shipping zones are currently set up, or otherwise?

    Below, I am attaching a screenshot of it, for reference.

    If there’d be no indication of the Lower 48?+ DC there, are you able to reproduce this with only the WooCommerce plugin active and the Storefront theme (linked here) activated, or otherwise?

    I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know.

    We’re happy to help.
