Can’t change Administration Email Address

I have a contact form set up, but messages are going to an old email address. I went to Settings/General and verified that my new email address is there. I thought maybe when I had changed that address a while ago I had neglected to confirm it, so I changed it to the old one, verified it from there, then changed it back to the new one. Then I filled out the contact form from a different account (I have several Google accounts in Chrome) which has never been used to edit my site. Messages still go to the old email. I have searched everywhere for a setting that might be pointing Feedback (Contact form) messages to my old email, but can’t find anything. Help is very much appreciated.
