    Hi,

Once set after uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin, I seem to be unable to change and update the Advance Settings. Changing the General Settings and Ticker Contents does work but nothing happens when trying to change the Advance Settings.

It does work with my other sites (https://dollwedding.net and https://xmadn.net) but not with https://sicilys-place.net. I deactivated all the plugins not in use with the other two sites but this didn’t solve the issue.

I don’t plan on changing the Advance Settings every now and then. So, as long as the Ticker Contents can be changed, I will be fine.

Still, I thought you might be interested to learn about this issue.

Thanks for reaching out! Since the Advanced Settings are working fine on my testing sites and your other two websites, the issue seems to be specific to the environment of sicilys-place.net.

Here are some things you can check:

    • Clear your browser cache and try again.
    • Check for any JavaScript errors in the browser console (F12 > Console).
    • Try switching to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-Four) to see if the theme is interfering.
    • Ensure there are no server-side caching mechanisms preventing the settings from updating.

If the issue persists, enabling WordPress Debug Mode and checking the error logs might give more insights. Let me know what you find!

    Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me. ??

Clearing the browser cache didn’t solve the issue which still occurs with each browser tested (Google Chrome, Firefox, Edge) both with the desktop and on the mobile.

When checking the browser console, I was displayed this: https://ibb.co/tptKQ7Px
But I’m displayed the same with “xmadn.net” where the issue does not occur.

Switching the theme as suggested by you didn’t help, either, which was not surprising considering “xmadn.net” uses the same theme as “sicilys-place.net”.

I’m not aware of any server-side caching mechanisms. Also, all three projects (the two above mentioned plus “dollwedding.net”) use the same server but the issue solely occurs with “sicilys-place.net”.

I ran “WP Debugging” but it didn’t reveal any issues when in the ticker settings.

Well, I guess I’ll have to live with it. As mentioned, I do not plan to change the advance settings, anyway. ??
