Can't change authors?

    Hello,
    I can’t change existing post’s authors and can’t post a new post as another author. When I look at similar forum topics, often people talk about a drop down menu for users at the edit post page. At my screen that doesn’t appear. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    (If with a screen shot that’d be great because I’m not very experienced with WordPress)

    Go to “edit post”
    On the top right click on screen options
    A window with check boxes will drop down
    Check the “Authors” box
    The author drop down list will appear allowing you to change authors
    Should take you a minute
    ??

    Please clarify:
    how many authors are set up on your website in the USER area?
    what is your USER role you are using for the website?

    There are 3 users, and each of them has an administrator role.

    do you see a screen like this when you use Quick Edit area of any post (see image)

    Yes! i’ve been searching for it at the normal edit page, why did they put it only on “quick edit” anyway…

    It IS in the regular edit page. At the bottom, when you enable “authors” in screen options…
