Can't change category of a link from the edit form

    To recreate:
    1. Make a link, assign a category
    2. Edit this link
    3. Try to change category
    4. Notice there is no category option
    5. Cry a little.

    I am wondering if this is just me, or if other people are seeing this as well? Is this just an oversight on the devs?

    It’s just you. The categoey panel is in the main column rather then on the right hand side but it is definitely there.

    Make sure categories is checked to show in screen options (top right corner).

    If it still doesn’t show then it could be a plugin or your current active theme interferring.

    Well, I found it..

    there was a modification made to a plugin which was hiding the categorylistitems div. Oops…
