Can't change category slug in the admin

    Hi !

    I need to change some category slugs but i can’t in the admin.

    If i change it it doesn’t save it correctly.

    It’s the 1st time i see it…

    I need to change them so do you think i can do it directly from the DB in the wp_terms table “slug” without incidence on my posts ?

    after i will do 301 redirection on older slug

    No. Have you tried changing the category title in each case?

    Thanks for your answer i have find the problem ?? i don’t know HOW & WHY but i have two different categorys with the same slug i thought it wasn’t possible…

    What happens if you switch to the default permalink structure?

    I can’t try cause the website is in production.

    but i don’t understand why i have at least 2 same slugs for 2 categorys in the wp_terms table with differents term_id but in the admin i don’t see these 2 categorys i see only one…

    does this table works for something else than categorys ?
