• It’s not possible to change “Continue to payment” button text. When I try to use the filter function nothing happens. And it seems to be caused by some Ajax running after the page is loaded and adds the text to it’s default.

Do anyone know how to get around this?

  • To change almost any text, you can “translate” it. “Translate” in this context also means using different words in the same language.

    Try Loco Translate:
    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/loco-translate/
    Activate, then:
Dashboard > Loco Translate > Plugins > WooCommerce > select your language > Edit

If you have theme override templates, look at
    Dashboard > Loco Translate > Themes > your-theme-name > etc

If you are using a payment gateway plugin, look at the translations for that.

In any case, click the Sync button, then filter for the string you want to change.

Save in the custom location to make your translations update-safe:
    https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/manual/msginit#locations

I’ve already changed many things in the translation of Woocommerce directly in the PO file without problem, but when I try to find “continue to payment” text string in PoEdit in the Woocommerce PO file, I find nothing!
Do you have an idea where the text string can be if it is not the Woocommerce language file?
