Hey Jonnychadwick,
Thanks for your message.
Please get back to us with specifics about what happens when you visit the 1.Setup tab for your quiz where the title field is located and screenshots of what you are seeing when trying to change the quiz title so that we can get this solved for you.
All the best.
How do I post screenshots?
Hi Jonnychadwick,
Thanks for your reply.
You can try uploading your screenshot images to a site like imgur and then use the LINK text in the reply here on WordPress to attach a link to these images you uploaded to imgur.
Also, if you have any caching plugins on your site, please ensure you have emptied the cache so as to rule this out as a potential conflict.
All the best.
did that work?
Hi Jonnychadwick,
Thanks for getting back.
To me, it looks like your first and third messages are blank. Only the second message saying “did that work?” is visible to me.
After uploading the screenshot image to imgur, I am selecting the Image Link on imgur and then adding the link to this reply using the “Link” button here under the “Your message:” section
All the best.
Thanks, the options I have on imgur are copy link or get share link
Which one should I try?
Hi there,
Thanks for that. I can see these images now.
Hmmm, that is very strange. Your quiz is missing the title and description section but the quiz on my site still has these sections – https://imgur.com/5lcxE83
We are very eager to get this solved. We need a few more details so that we can isolate why the issue is happening to you.
Can you open the developer console window on Chrome, and use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl Shift J (on Windows) or Cmd Option J (on Mac)?
Then take a screenshot of the errors that appear there. You might see a right-facing arrow that will expand the error message so that we can get more details.
You can also try installing this plugin and checking for conflicts with other plugins/themes. Potentially another plugin or theme is causing these sections to disappear. This plugin will allow you to test without impacting the front of the website. Only you the website admin will see the changes made while using the plugin. Website visitors will not see your changes – https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/
-Then once installed, go to Tools — Site Health to access the plugin.
-Next, click on the Troubleshooting tab at the top part of the screen. Between info and tools.
-Click the “Enable Troubleshooting Mode” button.
-Now, the screen will load, and up near the top right of the screen you will see a dropdown menu for Available plugins. Click that and enable Quiz Cat, while leaving your other plugins disabled. (Only you the admin will see this change, website visitors will see your normal website.)
-Then go back to Quiz Cat and see if the Title and Description section is now visible for you.
-If it is, start turning your plugins on one by one from the Available plugins dropdown until you find the plugin that triggers the disappearing title and description.
-If needed, you can also change the theme to a regular WordPress 2022 theme to see if that helps bring back your title and description fields. This is done from the Available themes dropdown under the Available plugins dropdown.Once finished, look to the top of your WordPress admin panel and hover on the “Troubleshooting Mode” text and from the dropdown click “Disable Troubleshooting Mode”.
Looking forward to your reply.
All the best.
Hi there,
Thanks for that.
Just to clarify and I should have specified this earlier, when you took the screenshot of the console errors, was this on the same page as the one in my screenshot where the title and description are appearing? EG 1.Setup — Quiz Setup or was it from your main admin page?

It was from Setup
I’ve run health check in troubleshooting mode and that made no difference
I’ve changed to a default theme and that didn’t help either
