  • Hello,

    Here is your best solution:

Go to the WordPress Dashboard and log in.

Go to the menu and select Appearance, then Header. The Header option may or may not be available depending on the theme being used. There are some themes that do not include a header choice.

You’ll see that the screen leaps to the theme’s Customize option. Make care to read the entire description before proceeding. It will usually inform you what the appropriate header graphic dimensions are. Click the Add new image button to add a new image. The theme in this screenshot is Twenty Sixteen, which allows you to have many randomised headers.

After you’ve chosen a picture, you’ll be sent to the Crop Header Image page. You can change how much of the image is visible. To save your pick, click Crop and Publish. You can alternatively publish the image without cropping it. When it’s finished, Customize will take you back to the header page.

Click the blue Publish button once you’ve completed adding your header. This will save the changes you’ve made.

Ok Bye, Have a Wonderful Day.

    Regards,

    Hi there,

I took a look at your website; I did not see a header image on the first page, but I did see a big swath of blue —

Is that what you’re trying to change to a different header image, or something else?

There must have been a bug in the program. As today as Sarah says the front page is just a swath of blue. Some how the photo was removed and I was able to get the photo I want in there today.

jyotish thank you for the detailed information.

Thank you both for your help and quick response.
