Can’t change header image (workaround)

First of all, thanks for this wonderful theme. I looked high and low, paid and free, looking for a simple theme with a header up top and a page-filling gallery of images below. So excited to find Block Lite.

In starting to set it up, I ran into a problem – first testing it out on an old, seldom-used domain, and then on another – where I couldn’t change the header image under Header Media. It’s stuck using the suggested header, with the view of the cliffs. This is when Homepage Settings is set to “your latest posts.” In “static page” mode, it seems not to be an issue.

In preparing to post about this I may have found a workaround. In my second domain I was in “your latest posts” mode and switched to static page mode to see if it worked in that case. The static page on the second domain wasn’t set up correctly so I couldn’t tell, and decided to switch back to latest-posts mode. At that point my header images suddenly appeared.

So I seem to be able to get by with the workaround, but only figured it out by accident. Probably still worth a real fix. ??
