    Hi!

I am using the AcmeBlog theme for my wordpress site but it keeps restricting me to a 290 X 70 image and forcing me to crop my header image which I would like to be 1101 x 264 and centered.

I have been struggling with this but any code I insert does not budge this 290 x 70 restriction.

Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance.

Instead of inserting an image into the header uploader I am now trying to insert code into the header.php which is a much easier solution. I hope someone else has a solution to the original problem.

The problem with inserting my header image within the header.php with code is that whenever I open my page the header image loads from the top left corner and then positions itself to the center.

    Anyone have another solution?

To solve this loading problem, I inserted the div code for the image below the </head> in header.php
