Minamzae 1.3.0, using the Dashboard->Appearance->Customize->Theme Options->Homepage, attempted to change the text in Call To Action – Intro which, after saving, is replaced in the theme options test box by:

<b>Warning</b>: htmlspecialchars() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in <b>G:\PleskVhosts\rupertt.com\ds\a\wp-includes\formatting.php</b> on line <b>3438</b>

Also see following in the Message section

Notice: Array to string conversion in G:\PleskVhosts\rupertt.com\ds\a\wp-content\themes\minamaze\admin\main\inc\fields\checkbox\field_checkbox.php on line 119

Notice: Array to string conversion in G:\PleskVhosts\rupertt.com\ds\a\wp-includes\general-template.php on line 3261

Site is davidslight.com but no text is displayed under the Slider due to this error.

    Hello davidslight,

We tested the theme based on your feedback and no issue was found. The theme was tested in a development environment with wp_debug mode enabled and no error messages were shown at all.

Here’s a screenshot showing the setup:

Whatever issue you have it’s not caused by the theme so you’ll need to do your own testing on your site setup and any 3rd party code you have.

    Best of luck!

Can you point to the easiest way to reinstall the theme (I have some CSS in a child theme) but not all the menu, front page content in the customization

Sorry but it appears to be the recent theme upgrade. Simply reverting to 1.14 – no other changes than uploading the theme — and the Hero text appears and the customization including the check box works fine.

Could you look again at the changes I see recently made in
the array to string conversion code in

    G:\PleskVhosts\rupertt.com\ds\a\wp-content\themes\minamaze\admin\main\inc\fields\checkbox\field_checkbox.php on line 119
